I did it with my two children aged 9 and 3. ........We did the hunt in York as a team building exercise- we had a fantastic day ........We had a wonderful time and your Hen Party Treasure Hunt was a great success. ........Thank you so much, it was excellant for my daughters 9th birthday party ........May I just say that I recently took part in a hunt through York & enjoyed it so much I decided to do the Berwick one ........

Our treasure hunts are a fantastic fun-filled family or group activity and members of the Children's University will be awarded two hours accredited learning time for each hunt completed! Treasure hunts are a great way of exploring in your own town or when visiting somewhere new and by following the directions and solving the clues you will be guided around the area seeing historical buildings, statues and monuments and things you would normally just walk straight past. We have 200+ treasure hunts in towns and cities around the UK and overseas encouraging problem solving, team work, navigation skills and much more. Children will absorb so much more as they are having to hunt for the answers to the clues rather than just being told what they are looking at and they will be having so much fun they won't even realise they are learning at all !!! A hunt will take about 2 hours to complete however with plenty of opportunities along the way to stop off at places of interest, it can be incorporated into a ½ or full day out. Our treasure hunts contain all the necessary elements you need including maps, clues and answers. No prior knowledge of the area is necessary as you are given directions and all the clues are solved along the way by observation.
